The positioning bed to prevent decubitus ulcers

In case of illness, in particular where there is a danger of bedsores, quick action is usually required. The special nursing bed Dekubia is built to be combined with any furnishing and is ready for operation at once.
With an inclination that can be set by hand switch, the lying surface moves at a certain angle to the left and right up to a maximum inclination of approx. 17°. The total relief of the body is at 75 percent, which achieves a very good relief of the respective body parts.
The inclination of the lying surface makes a decisive contribution to prevention of decubitus ulcers and reduction of pre-existing complaints. The back, thigh and lower leg rest can be adjusted electrically with a hand switch.

Decubitus ulcers are a severe consequence suffered by bedridden patients.
Depending on the patient's condition, they will appear quickly and are difficult to treat. Prevention is greatly at the focus here. The nursing bed Dekubia prevents bedsores. An alternating movement of the mattress in either direction at a certain rhythm alternatingly relieves the patient's body. This reduces the risk of bedsores a lot. The inclination of the lying surface can be individually adjusted to the patient's needs. Control via the hand switch permits individual alternating rhythm settings of, e.g., 30, 60 or 90 minutes.
